Service here is excellent and by far the best hospitality that I’ve received in Lisbon on this trip, the staff here was so professional and helpful in explaining the menu and walking us through the dishes as they arrived to our table which was such a good personal touch. I would highly recommend the sardine on the bed of potato and the codfish fritters, and the star of the show being the traditional Portuguese octopus with olive oil boiled potatoes however I do recommend sharing this dish rather than having it by yourself as it can be a bit much for some people. Finally, atmosphere is wonderful, away from the busy streets but lively enough that you can watch the world go by whilst having dinner. Will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is a gem. Best food we had while visiting Lisbon. All the dishes and the wine were absolutely exemplary, as was the service. Glass of port at the end was a nice touch too. Beautiful decor inside and out. Don’t hesitate - book Versiculo d’O Faia!

Lovely find in Lisbon, the quality of the food and service was top tier! Authentic food, amazing starters and both mains we tried, the octopus and the lamp, were divine! Highly recommended!
